The master plan of the City of Gaiola provides in its outer part to the historical center Cuneo towards a residential area that runs along the main road of the Colle della Maddalena. The heavy traffic and transport using that road made it difficult for the easy use of the residential area for which the administration came to the determination to build a nearby residential transit path. The new route includes the construction of public parking spaces divided from the road by a green space on the other side towards the houses is the footpath with public lighting. This way pedestrian traffic does not create a burden even on the main road.
